Morgan Park Sports Center Debuts Chicago Horned Frogs Youth Hockey Program
New youth hockey program to be unveiled at community celebration Saturday, June 24, at the Morgan Park Sports Center.

CHICAGO, IL -- The Morgan Park Sports Center will unveil its new youth hockey program the Horned Frogs this Saturday, June 24, from 3 to 6 p.m. The celebration will include food, music, public skating and information about the program. All are invited.
The Chicago Horned Frogs employs the American Development Model that is designed to incorporate all of the major skills needed to play ice hockey at a competitive level. In keeping with the American Development Model –as it was outlined by USA Hockey – the Chicago Horned Frogs youth hockey program will develop each player’s basic skills while also encouraging creativity and hockey sense.
Each player -- from those taking first steps on to the ice through age 18 -- will be provided with as many puck touches as possible while emphasizing key hockey fundamentals. The Morgan Park Sports Center is located at 11501 S. Western Ave., Chicago.
