Motorcyclist Hurt In Hit-And-Run At 111th And Christiana
Police say the driver of a Ford F-150 immediately fled the scene of a crash that sent a 46-year-old man to the hospital.

CHICAGO, IL - The driver of a truck fled the scene of a crash that seriously wounded a motorcyclist late Thursday night in Mount Greenwood.
Chicago police say the truck was headed eastbound on 111th Street near Christiana Avenue around 10:40 p.m. when it turned in front of a motorcycle heading west. The turning caused the driver of the motorcycle, a 46-year-old man, to crash into the side of the truck.
Police said the driver of the truck immediately fled the scene northbound on Christiana and then westbound on 110th Street. Nobody has been taken into custody as of 10 a.m. on Friday.

The offending vehicle is a black Ford F-150 with tan side panels and passenger side damage, according to police. The Chicago Police Department's Major Accidents unit continues an investigation.
The victim, who police said is a Chicago Police Department dispatcher who was off-duty at the time, remains at a local hospital in serious condition.

A social media account for the 22nd Police District identified the victim as Mike "Doc" Tracy while wishing him a speedy recovery on Friday.
