CHICAGO — Christmas spirit filled the air last Saturday, as Girl Scouts from Troop 26004 visited Mercy Circle, a faith-based continuing care retirement community in Chicago’s Mount Greenwood neighborhood.

While residents were on their way to Mass, the Scouts sang Christmas carols and delivered cards made by eighth graders at Mt. Greenwood Elementary School. All the Girl Scouts are fifth graders at Mt. Greenwood Elementary School. The Scouts have been busy working in the community, volunteering to help families benefiting from Pat’s Pantry.

For more information or to schedule a private appointment, please call 773-253-3600 or visit Mercy Circle.
