Name this Chicago Bears-Inspired Ice Cream
There's a new ice cream company coming to Chicago, and they're looking for Chicagoans' help in naming a Bears-inspired flavor.
An ice cream company from Michigan is making its way to the Chicago market, and they know the way to our hearts: food.
Hudsonville Ice Cream will soon debutย a new Limited Editionย flavor and needs Chicagoans to help name it.ย ย The companyย is teaming up with the Chicago Bears to launch the Midwestย ice cream companyโs newest flavor: chocolate ice cream with fudge pieces and a peanut butter ripple.
Hudsonville and the Bears are looking to the Bearsโย fansโthe ones that endure the cold, lose their voices after every game and the ones that cook up the snacksย for their favorite Bears fansโto help name the flavor inspired by the Monsters of the Midway.ย ย
The ice cream company, located across the big lake in Holland, Michigan, is asking the public to vote for their favorite of three options.
Your choices are:
- Chocolate Monster
- Da Ice Cream
- Bear Traxx
Vote onlineย through Friday, May 16.ย ย
One voter for the winning flavor name will randomly be selected to win a yearโs supply of free ice cream. The flavor will be available in stores later this year.ย ย
โWe are truly excited and honored to partner with the Bears organization. The Bears work hard and bringย Chicagoans together; their milestones have caused celebration since 1920. At Hudsonville we feel weย have many of those same qualities,โ said CJ Ellens of Hudsonville Ice Cream. โThe artisans atย Hudsonville started making ice cream back in 1926 and we work hard every day to make the best iceย cream we can. Ice cream brings people together and helps us celebrate.โย ย
Ellens said Hudsonville Ice Cream looks forward to the partnership with the Bears being unique, it willย allow fans to bring the taste of their favorite team home. โWhat is even more exciting is that the fans haveย complete control over the name. We hope everyone gets online and votes.โย
