Pair From MPA Make 'Early Decision' College Choices
Students from the private South Side of Chicago school will attend Northwestern University and New York University.

CHICAGO — Two Morgan Park Academy seniors have made "early decision" acceptances by two of the nation's most selective universities, the school said in a news release.
Annika Echols will attend Northwestern University and Chelsea Chai will attend New York University.
"We’re so pleased to see these schools recognize the character, accomplishments, and future potential of MPA graduates,” Head of School Mercedes Z. Sheppard said. “With individualized attention in our four-year college counseling program, Morgan Park Academy students are able to find a great school that's the right fit.”

Collectively, Morgan Park Academy's Class of 2020 has earned $2.3 million in scholarship offers to this point in the college admission process, including presidential and dean's awards at DePaul University, Marquette University and Loyola University Chicago.
