Police Release Photos of Tattooed Suspect in Morgan Park Homicide

Chicago police ask for public's help in identifying man in fatal shooting of 27-year-old woman.

Chicago police have released surveillance photos of suspect sought in the slaying of a 27-year-old woman in Morgan Park early Thursday morning.

Claudia Mister was standing with friends around 2:48 a.m. in the 1600 block of West 115th Street when a man approached the group and fired a handgun several times, police said.

The young woman was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she later died of her injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 6-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt and gray jeans and has several visible tattoos including on the back of his neck, and on both forearms and his hands.
