Arrest Made After Rock Thrower Targets Beverly Businesses
Businesses along 95th Street east of Western Avenue have been targeted multiple times in recent months.

CHICAGO - Police say they've caught the man who has been throwing rocks at the windows of businesses in the Beverly neighborhood. A community alert was shared Friday night seeking information on a man pictured in a number of the incidents that targeted businesses along 95th Street, Western Avenue and 103rd Street and less than 48 hours later a suspect was in custody.
22nd District officers have arrested the subject who is believed to have been responsible for throwing rocks through business windows along 95th street and Western Ave. Great work officers.

Businesses throughout the Beverly neighborhood have been targeted in recent months by a man caught on camera several times throwing bricks into windows. Police in the 22nd District were investigating seven incidents in which businesses were victimized that way during late-night and overnight hours between March 12 and June 3. Reports have been taken primarily at businesses along 95th Street east of Western Avenue, but one business on 103rd Street and another on Western were also targeted.
Official charges were not immediately available.
