See Wedding Gowns From The 1800s At Ridge Historical Society

A "Wedding Shower Tea Party" will display bridal gowns from 1860 to 1960 this Sunday at the Ridge Historical Society.

CHICAGO, IL - A century of bridal gowns and wedding memorabilia will be on display at a "Wedding Shower Tea Party" at the Ridge Historical Society this weekend. Wedding gowns on display will be from 1860 to 1960, according to an item in BAPA's The Villager newsletter.

The event will run from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 29 at the RHS, 10621 S. Seeley Ave.

The gowns will "show off the fabric of some remarkable history."

Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for guests under age 18.
