Shooting On 95th Street In Beverly Wounds 1
A documented gang member was shot in the left arm Thursday afternoon near 95th and Leavitt in Beverly, police said.

CHICAGO, IL -- A man who was walking to his car on 95th Street near Leavitt Street Thursday afternoon was shot in the left arm. The victim, a 33-year-old man who police say is a documented gang member, was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn and is in good condition according to a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.
Police said the man was walking in the 2100 block of 95th at 3:40 p.m. when an unknown offender in a silver SUV fired a shot that struck him in the left arm. The suspect fled and has not been captured.
The victim is a documented gang member, according to police.
