Shooting On I-94 Closes Highway At Morning Rush Hour

CHICAGO, IL — Police are investigating a far South Side shooting on Interstate 94 reported early Wednesday, according to authorities.
A person walked into a Chicago police station Wednesday morning and said they were involved in an expressway shooting around 5 a.m., according to law enforcement. State troopers responded and closed all lanes of the southbound interstate near 87th Street from 7:20 a.m. to 7:50 a.m., police said.
