Smash-And-Grab Reported At Beverly Business
A car smashed into a business on 95th Street in Beverly on Sunday before thieves grabbed clothing and fled.
CHICAGO, IL - A Beverly business was the victim of a "smash-and-grab" robbery on Sunday. ABC-7 Chicago reports the store owner of The Shop 147 at 95th and Oakley spent Sunday cleaning up after a car crashed into the glass front entrance of the business.
Several people in the area grabbed clothing and other merchandise from the scene after the car hit the front of the building, but no one was arrested as of Sunday night. Police say they will review surveillance tape of the incident.
