South Side Irish Parade Fundraiser Set For Saturday At 115 Bourbon St.

CHICAGO — A pre-parade fundraiser and party is planned Saturday, March 2, to kick off the South Side Irish Parade. The party will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th Street, Marionette Park.

Proceeds from the evening will help support the parade operating expenses. Tickets are $50 at the door. Admission includes a dinner buffet, draft beer and wine.

The Avondale Ramblers and Kieran Bryne will provide live music inside the 115 Bourbon Street Performance Hall. The fundraiser will also offer a quieter approach with Irish traditional music sessions featuring Pat Finnegan and Friends inside the Saloon.

Raffle prizes and a silent auction are featured, culminating with the selection and announcement of the 2024 South Side Irish Parade Queen.

The parade queen will be prominently featured in the South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade and also ride in the downtown Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16, and be entered in the Chicago Rose of Tralee Selection.

Businesses and residents can also purchase a customized street pole banner at the parade store.
This year the South Side Irish Parade steps off at noon Sunday, March 17.
