Southland Catholic High Schools Ranked In New Niche List

Compare Mother McAuley, Marist, St. Ignatius, Brother Rice, Providence and others based on the new Niche.com list of best schools.

CHICAGO, IL — Niche.com released its annual rankings of best schools and school districts in the country on Monday. A look at the rankings indicates all Catholic high schools on the South Side of Chicago or the south suburbs scored a C+ or higher on the annual report card that ranks both public and private high schools, elementary schools and junior highs across the country.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. The methodology for each category of rankings varied with some factors, having a higher weight for certain categories over others.
