Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago Lecture: Things That Go Bump: Witches, Demons and the Occult on Oct. 28th.
On Wednesday, October 28th, the Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago invites the residents of the Southland area to a .lecture: Things That Go Bump: witches, Demons and the Occult given by Lucas Livingston at 10:45 A.M. at the Chicago Art Institute’s Price Auditorium. Join us for a celebration of the supernatural in art, music, film and literature as we discover a treasure of terrifying traditions by a Halloween’s history from Faust’s devil and Grimm’s witches to Japanese demons and hungry ghosts. Members $15, Nonmembers Reservations are being taken by Carol McCoy , 18113S. Sacramento Ave, Homewood, IL 60430 until October 21st. Make checks payable to the Art Institute of Chicago.
