State Legislators Host Environmental Town Hall This Saturday

CHICAGO, IL -- State Sen. Bill Cunningham and cohorts Reps. Fran Hurley and Kelly Burke are hosting an environmental town hall this Saturday, June 30, at Saint Xavier University. The town hall runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Local legislators and activists will discuss the environment, clean energy and efforts to create green jobs. Featured groups attending the town hall include:

• Illinois Environmental Council
• Citizens Utility Board
• Sierra Club of Illinois
• Illinois Solar Energy Association
• Union of Concerned Scientists
