Suitcase-Carrying Man With Limp A Suspect In Burglary Spree
Police are trying to identify a man they say has committed several burglaries in the area of Longwood Drive over the past eight months.

CHICAGO, IL - A burglar who police suspect has been targeting neighborhood residents who live near Longwood Drive for the past eight months was caught on camera committing one of his crimes last week. 22nd District police shared several surveillance images of the man photographed in the 1800 block of West 105th Street shortly after noon on June 1.
As shown below, the man is African-American, between 40-50 years old, 5'10" and walks with a profound limp. He usually carries a backpack and has been spotted with a suitcase in some videos reviewed by police. His crimes generally occur during daylight hours.
He's considered a suspect in numerous burglaries that have been reported in the area between 99th and 111th streets and Longwood Drive and Prospect Avenue over the past eight months.
