Suspects Sought In North Beverly Armed Robbery
Police say a shopper was followed out of a grocery store in North Beverly and robbed nearby.

CHICAGO, IL - A shopper at a North Beverly grocery store was followed outside and robbed on Monday. Police in the 22nd District are looking to identify two men they say displayed a weapon and demanded property from the person in the 9400 block of South Leavitt Street around 5 p.m.
Surveillance images of the two suspects have been shared. Police said that after the armed robbery they fled the area in a small silver Ford vehicle.
The only grocery store listed in the area of 94th and Leavitt is the Beverly Hills Food Mart, which sits at the northeast corner of 95th and Leavitt. Unconfirmed reports on social media Monday indicate there was a significant police presence at the store around the time of the reported incident.
