SXU Baseball Program Hosts First Pitch Dinner At 115 Bourbon Street

Saint Xavier University hosts its first ever First Pitch Dinner March 16. Proceeds will be used to improve baseball training resources.

CHICAGO – Come meet the 2023 Cougars before their first CCAC weekend series at Saint Xavier University’s “First Pitch Dinner” Thursday, March 16, at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park.

The dinner kicks off from 6 to 9 p.m. and features guest speaker Jim Panozzo ‘77, in addition to the Cougars meet-and-greet. Proceeds raised from the dinner will go toward improving the training resources for the SXU baseball team. Sponsorships are also available. “We are excited to launch our first eve First Pitch Dinner and hope for this event to become a staple in our program,” said Rouse. “Our goal is to attract the community, build relationships, generate support for our young men who represent our University, and to ultimately showcase the first class program we are building at SXU.”

All are welcome. Admission is $75 for adults and $50 for youths under 21. Admission includes cocktail hour, dinner and open bar. All proceeds will benefit the SXU Baseball program. Admission for a table of eight is available for $500. Tickets are available online.
