SXU Golf Outing To Raise Funds For Student Scholarships

CHICAGO — Take a swing for Saint Xavier University student scholarships at the 27th annual golf classic Thursday, Aug. 10 at Silver Lake Country Club. 14700 S. 82nd Ave., Orland Park, The event supports student success with scholarship support for the next generation of leaders.

The day includes a full round of golf and cart, plus socializing and networking with other guests and alumni. Golfers will enjoy eye-opener drinks, lunch and beverages on the course, 19th hole cocktail hour and a steak dinner, followed by comedy with WGN-TV news anchor Mike Toomey.

Check-in is at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cocktails, dinner, golf prizes and a raffle drawing are from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Individual tickets to the golf classic are $250.. Cocktails, dinner and show only are $55. Sponsorships ranging from $500 for hole sponsorships to presenting sponsor (exclusive) for $20,000. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased online.
