Team Up And Tee Off At SXU Golf Classic For Student Scholarships

CHICAGO — Not even a pandemic can stop the 2020 Saint Xavier University Golf Classic from teeing off Thursday, Oct. 8, at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 S. 82nd Ave. in Orland Park.

Although taking place a little later this year because of the pandemic, this streamlined golf classic features breakfast, a full round of golf, lunch, reception and a ready-to-grill steak dinner to take home to enjoy. Illinois Department of Commerce social distance guidelines for golf will be in play during the outing.

This is a great event that supports scholarships for some incredible students who are doing everything they can not to let the pandemic disrupt their education. Now in its 23rd year, SXU's annual golf classic has raised more than $1 million for student scholarships since its inception in 1997.

Online registration is available for individual golfers is $250; with a reduced rate of $175 for SXU young alumni (2008-2020).
