Teen Girl Forced Into Van, Sexually Assaulted In Morgan Park
A man got out of a white van and put a 13-year-old in a chokehold before forcing her into the van and sexually assaulting her.

CHICAGO, IL — A 13-year-old girl was forced into a white van and sexually assaulted in the afternoon on Tuesday in Morgan Park. Chicago police have issued a community alert that they are looking for a black male suspect in connection with the attack reported just before 4 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 109th Place, just a block east of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
The 13-year-old victim didn't recognize the man who got out of the van, which police said had two cargo doors. Police say he placed her in "a chokehold" and forced her into the van and sexually assaulted her inside while it was parked near Lamb Park at 109th and Loomis.
Eventually, she was able to escape and notify authorities of the attack. She described the offender as a black man between 30 and 35 years old and wearing a black hoodie, the community alert states.
