Treadfit Expanding With New West Suburban Gym

Beverly's popular Treadfit will soon have a second location in west suburban Western Springs.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL - A popular Beverly fitness center will expand with a second location in the western suburbs come February. Treadfit, the gym on the northwest corner of 105th and Western that gets about 2,000 visits every month, is planning to open another facility in Western Springs. It will be located on the corner of 47th and Gilbert Avenue in the Garden Market Shopping Center.

"We are so excited to expand Treadfit to Western Springs, and can't wait for everyone to experience all that this workout has to offer," Harkins said. "With a smaller class size and plenty of one-on-one encouragement and instruction, Treadfit stands out from other facilities in the area. Our clients have the opportunity to experience high energy, transforming classes that leave them feeling rejuvenated and challenged."

Treadfit offers 50 minute workout classes using interval training on the treadmill coupled with full-body strength training, according to a news release. All classes are led by experienced and certified trainers and feature workouts open to all fitness levels, including walkers, joggers and hardcore runners. Class sizes are maximized at 15 people.
