Video Sought Of Carjacking Thursday In Beverly
Chicago police are asking residents and businesses to submit doorbell or security camera video that may have captured the incident.

CHICAGO — Chicago police are asking residents and businesses to submit any video that many have captured a carjacking Thursday evening in Beverly.
Around 8:45 p.m., two men armed with handguns committed a vehicular hijacking in the 9300 block of south Pleasant Avenue. Both men forcibly took a black Audi and personal belongings from two people inside the vehicle.
One of the alleged carjackers was wearing all black, and the other was wearing all black with a red scarf.

The Chicago Police Department Vehicular Hijacking Task Force and Area 2 detectives are seeking any video from residents or businesses in the community. Anyone with doorbell/security video of the Audi or the suspects are asked to contact Detective Dorish at kathleen.dorich@chicagopolice.org or call 312-747-8273.
In an email blast, Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th) told residents there will be additional police resources assigned to the community in response to this incident.
