Vietnam Veterans Invited To 50th Anniversary Mass Since War's End

CHICAGO — Hard to believe it has been 50 years since the United States withdrew ground forces from South Vietnam. To commemorate the official end of the Vietnam War – March 29 – St. Cajetan Church will be honoring all veterans from this era with a special Mass at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Congress has created a veteran pin and a spouse/family pin to be presented to all veterans and their spouses and families. St. Cajetan’s Catholic Parish, in cooperation with the Mendel Alumni Association Veterans Committee, will host a special pinning ceremony following the Mass.
