Watch It Again: Ridge Run/Memorial Day Parade Video Replay
Did you miss the Ridge Run and the Memorial Day Parade? No worries, we have video feeds from both Monday morning events.
CHICAGO, IL - Honoring America's fallen heroes has become one of the largest yearly celebrations in the Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood. This year, neighborhood residents and visitors showed their support by running and marching on one of the hottest days of the year.
Thirty-nine entries took part in the Memorial Day Parade, a tradition on Longwood Drive that dates back several decades. Take a look here at our livestream feed of the parade from 103rd and Longwood.
Before the parade, thousands of runners came out to run in 10K and 5K events in weather that was not optimal for running. Neighborhood residents provided a big help though with hoses, sprinklers and their own water stations. Take a look here at the start of the Ridge Run 5K from Ridge Park.
