Woman Robbed At Gunpoint On 115th Street Metra Platform
Metra police say a man pulled a gun on a woman who was waiting for the train one morning at the 115th Street stop in Morgan Park.

CHICAGO, IL - A woman who was waiting for a train at the 115th Street Metra stop in Morgan Park early one morning last week was robbed at gunpoint of her purse, police said in a bulletin to residents of the 22nd Police District on Wednesday.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, 35-45 years old, 6'0" to 6'2", 225-250 pounds with a very dark complexion, short hair and a clean shaven face. He had on an ill-fitting black colored waist length leather coat and a black hoodie at the time of the armed robbery, reported to have occurred at 5:50 a.m. on Feb. 16.
The robber pulled out a small black handgun before the victim fled, dropping her purse. The purse was picked up by the man, who headed east on 115th Street.

"He exhibited watery eyes and labored breathing," police wrote of the robber in a bulletin about the crime.
The woman was on the Metra train platform at the time of the incident, making it come under the jurisdiction of the Metra Police Department. Anyone with information should contact Detective Alvarado at 312-322-2800.
