Woman Shot And Killed In Front Of CPD 22nd District Station, 1 Injured
Chicago police said a man and woman were struck by gunfire in the driveway of the 22nd District by occupants in another vehicle.

CHICAGO — A woman was shot and killed in front of the Chicago Police 22nd District in Morgan Park Sunday evening. A man was taken in serious condition to Advocate Aurora Christ Medical Center.
Around 8:45 p.m., CPD Deputy Chief Chris Papaioannou said two vehicles were involved in a pursuit. The occupants of one vehicle shot at a car in multiple locations.
The man and woman in the car were also struck by gunfire. The vehicle drove to the mouth of the driveway of the 22nd District station in the 1900 block of Monterey Avenue. The occupants continued to fire shots at the man and woman’s car. Bullets also struck the 22nd District station.

Hearing gunfire, Papaioannou said officers ran outside, where they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Advocate Christ. The man is in serious condition with gunshot wounds to his lower body. The woman was pronounced at the hospital.
Area 2 detectives are reviewing surveillance video.
