12 Ducklings Rescued By Bolingbrook Fire Department

BOLINGBROOK, IL - It's hard to say what was going through the minds of 12 ducklings that got trapped in a storm sewer in the village of Bolingbrook. Chances are, they were not expecting the Bolingbrook Fire Department to rescue them and save the day. But that's what happened. The Somerfield Subdivision Homeowners Association captured several photos of the weekend rescue and shared the photos on Facebook.

"12 Ducklings saved from the clutches of a storm sewer while a nervous mother watched. Great job BFD!" the message proclaimed.
