14 New Bolingbrook Police Officers Sworn In
Nine officers were also promoted to new positions within the department.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Fourteen police officers were sworn in during the Bolingbrook Village Board meeting on Sept. 12, and several officers were also promoted to new positions.
Promotions included: Brennan Woods and Kristofer Schrubbe to captain; John Morrow, Mike Harvey and Vince Radaker to lieutenant; and Patrick Kinsella, Antonio Tucker, Jason O'Hara and Robert Boehnke to sergeant.
New officers to the department include: Krystal Brown, Fabian Hernandez, Bryan Weller, La'Darius Nolan, Adam Suszka, Brian Perez, Jacob Bodnar, Jasper McGee, Jonathan Vanderway, Adrian Diaz, Edgar Aguero-Doctor, Nyome Zavala, Kimberly McKay and Henry Breitbarth.

According to the department, each of the officers were either hired or promoted within the past year, and all took their public oath of office during this ceremony.
The event was held at The Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center.

"This was a special night for our department, and we would like to thank Mayor Mary, the Board of Trustees, and the Fire and Police Board for making this all possible," the department said in a release.
