28 Seatbelt Citations During Bolingbrook PD's Halloween Enforcement

BOLINGBROOK, IL — During its recent Halloween enforcement, the Bolingbrook Police issued 28 seatbelt and child safety seat citations, and 19 other traffic citations.

The department was one of many agencies throughout Illinois who participated in this effort to get impaired drivers off the roads and more motorists buckled up. The enforcement campaign took place from Oct. 16 through Nov. 1, the department said.

The recent law enforcement campaign was made possible by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation and is part of the statewide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaign
