Woman Dies After Fire At Bolingbrook Senior Community: Coroner
A 78-year-old woman has died after a fire at a Bolingbrook senior living community on Friday.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 78-year-old woman has died after a fire at a Bolingbrook senior living community on Friday, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.
The coroner's office said Joan Lattimore, 78, was pronounced dead at 7:38 p.m. on Friday at U Chicago Medicine Advent Health in Bolingbrook.
The fire department said it responded to a senior living community at 503 Kildeer Drive at 6:55 p.m. Friday for a fire.

Firefighters arrived and found "heavy fire conditions" within a single residential unit, according to a release. The fire was successfully contained to the apartment of origin, and did not spread to neighboring units.
Three residents were taken to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment, the fire department said. No injuries were reported among fire department personnel.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, the fire department said.
