4 Baby Food Bandits Busted At Meijer: Complaint
The four men were all taken to the Will County Jail in downtown Joliet.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - If you thought a group of people walking into a giant supermarket with backpacks might arouse suspicion on the part of the loss prevention team, you were right. Four young men now find themselves locked up in the Will County Jail this week after being arrested by the Bolingbrook Police Department. The item they allegedly stole from the Meijer in Bolingbrook was hundreds of dollars worth of baby formula, court documents indicate.
The four co-defendants all charged with felony retail theft are 20-year-old Breaun Walls, 18-year-old Ja-Juan Thigpen, 19-year-old Bolingbrook resident DaVontai Sanders and 19-year-old DeQunce Frazier.
According to Bolingbrook's Police Department, the "retail theft occurred at Meijer 755 E. Boughton Rd., where all four suspects were arrested for concealing several cases of baby formula in backpacks, and exiting the store without rendering payment."

The felony charge indicates that they stole more than $300 merchandise from Meijer, on Saturday, July 14.

Of the four co-defendants, only Sanders shows an address in Bolingbrook. He lives in the 7900 block of South Paulina Street. His bail was set at $50,000.
Frazier, who lives on South Justine Street in Chicago, got a $20,000 bail. Walls, who lives on South Wallace Street, Chicago, got a $50,000 bail. Thigpen, who lives in Chicago on South Broadway, got a $20,000 bail.
As of 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19, Thigpen, Walls, Sanders and Frazier all remained locked away behind bars in the Will County Jail.
