4 Candidates File For Fountaindale Library Trustee Election

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Four candidates have filed nomination papers for the open Fountaindale Public Library Trustee positions in the upcoming April 4 consolidated election. The library board will have three open positions, including two 6-year terms and one 4-year term.

Sarah Siska is the only candidate who has filed for the 4-year term.

Three candidates have filed for the two open 6-year terms. The candidates are Robert Kalnicky, Meraj Alam and Demetrius Bunch.

Kalnicky currently serves as Board President, and Alam and Siska are also incumbent board members.

According to the Will County Clerk's Office, an objection has been filed to Bunch's petitions for candidacy. The case, Danhof v. Bunch, will have a hearing on Thursday at the Will County Courthouse, 100 W. Jefferson St., in Joliet.
