$58,000 Raised at Golf Outing for Services at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital

Foundation executive director Derek Cazeau calls event at Bolingbrook Golf Club a huge success.

More than 140 golfers teed it up.

And more than $58,000 was raised during the recent Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation golf classic at Bolingbrook Golf Club. The money will be used to enhance services that support patients at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, according to Derek Cazeau, executive director of the Bolingbrook High Hospital Foundation.

"Our golf classic continues to grow, and it's because of the support from organizations throughout the community," Cazeau said. "Words cannont express our gratitude for everything that our community partners continue to provide."

Cazeau said there was a 20 percent increase in new sponsor participation and every golf slot for the Sept. 5 event was filled.

Sponsors: Einstein Bros. Bagles, BD Mongolian's Grill, Chick-Fil-A, Nancy's Pizza and Andry's Frozen Custard.

"The members of the golf committee worked hard at making sure this year's golf classic was a success, and I want to thank them for everything they did for the hospital foundation," said Rick Mace, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital chief executive officer in a news release.
