Adventist CEO Responds to Surplus Beds Story: Bolingbrook Hospital Remains Financially Strong

"As we have been for seven years, our expert team of faculty, nurses and physicians remains committed to keeping you well."

Crain’s Chicago Business recently ran a story about Chicago-area hospitals, including Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, as part of a much larger story about hospital over-bedding in Illinois. This story was about the business of health care and not about the exceptional care that we at Adventist Bolingbrook provide to our patients each and every day.

We opened our hospital seven years ago at a time when Will County was one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Though the county is still recovering from the economic downturn, our passion and sense of duty to those we serve has not wavered. The hospital also remains financially strong, and we have worked to ensure our financial stability moving forward.

At Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, we are proud of the services we provide and the steps that we take to ensure that our patients receive the care they expect and deserve. It is an honor to be a part of the Bolingbrook family, and want to take this opportunity to thank our patients and community members for their continued support. Please know that we are here for you and your family. As we have been for seven years, our expert team of faculty, nurses and physicians remains committed to keeping you well.
