Age-Restricted Community Approved In Bolingbrook
The 24-unit, 55-and-over community would be located at Reagan Boulevard and Naperville Road.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board approved plans to move forward a 24-unit, age-restricted community.
The Board approved a special use permit for a planned development with variances, a final development plan and a final plat of subdivision for the development.
Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said the special use permit with variances is for minimum lot size and measurements, bulk requirements and design standards.

The development will be located at the northeast corner of Reagan Boulevard and Naperville Road.
According to Board documents, the property is 13.04 acres, and is currently undeveloped land. The age-restricted community is for those 55 and older.

"The development would feature rear-facing garages connected to service roads running behind the homes, a design which is intended to give the homes a more cottage-like appearance and foster community engagement," Board documents state.
