My son was her student in her first year of teaching.
How have they made an impact?
My son was in Miss Norma’s class for his first year in preschool, and it was also her first year teaching. As a first-time mother, I was super nervous for this time in his life, but she made it so easy and welcoming for him! On his first day of school, he cried from the time we dropped him off until halfway through the day; on his second day of school, he waved goodbye and smiled!
She went above and beyond to show these little people they matter and to assure the parents the kids would be fine! She always invited the parents into her classroom, and she was always on top of communication with parents, letting them know even the smallest details about the students’ day. She loves each of her students, and she has a huge heart for teaching — always doing the most for the smallest projects or activities! She is super joyful and helpful to her students and colleagues as well!
