Increased Police Presence Expected At Bolingbrook's Pelican Harbor: Park District

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Park District advised residents to be aware of an increased police presence at Pelican Harbor on Thursday.

The park district said this was due to "a potential large gathering."

In a recent "teen takeover" in neighboring Naperville, five teens and four adults were arrested on Monday. Violations included battery, attempted aggravated assault on a peace officer and illegal possession of cannabis.
