WILL COUNTY, IL — Will County Emergency Management Agency is offering a storm damage survey for residents and businesses impacted by the July 27 severe weather.
"Your responses will help officials assess the impact of the recent storm and may assist in determining eligibility for potential disaster assistance for our area," the Village of Bolingbrook shared on its Facebook page.
Residents can complete the brief damage assessment survey online.
The survey asks residents to share their location, and asks what kind of damage occurred, and if utilities were impacted. Residents can also submit pictures of damage to their home.
The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado in Romeoville, and also confirmed straight-line winds of 80 to 100 mph in eastern Will County in communities around Frankfort, Monee, Crete, Steger and Beecher.
