Bolingbrook Pet Store Closing Later This Month

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Petland Bolingbrook and Aquarium Adventure will close its doors on Sept. 20, the business shared on its Facebook.

The business will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with the last day open to the public on Sept. 20.

"When we opened our doors on Dec. 15, 2007, we could never have imagined the relationships we would build with our customers, employees, and the customers over the years," the business said on its Facebook.

Petland Bolingbrook cited legislative changes and a changing retail environment which caused significant impacts on the business.

The business siad it will continue to serve Bolingbrook customers and its Hoffman Estates location, which will remain open.

The store said that select store fixtures and equipment are available for purchase as the store goes through the closing process.
