No Injuries Reported After 'Significant House Fire' In Bolingbrook: Fire Dept.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A "significant house fire" was reported on Thursday in Bolingbrook, the Bolingbrook Fire Department shared on its Facebook page.

Crews responded to the 100 block of Weathersfield, and faced "a challenging fire that required a coordinated response and considerable resources," the fire department said.

All occupants and pets made it out safely, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

"While we are incredibly grateful everyone was able to get out safely, we also recognize that the loss associated with a fire of this magnitude can be devastating," the department said. Those affected are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The fire department thanked neighboring fire agencies for mutual aid, and the Bolingbrook Police Department for their assistance.
