• Man Robbed Victim At Gunpoint During Online Sale Meetup: Bolingbrook Police (patch.com) — Bolingbrook residents are learning more about a recent armed robbery that happened during a social media clothing sale meetup on Ironbark Way. Police say a 19-year-old from Des Plaines was later identified, detained with help from Des Plaines officers, and brought back to Bolingbrook to face an aggravated robbery charge.
   

• IKEA Leaving Bolingbrook, Moving To New Naperville Location (patch.com) — Bolingbrook shoppers are reacting to news that the IKEA on Boughton Road will close in late 2027 and relocate eight miles away to Naperville's Block 59 center. The company says the move to a smaller-format store aims to stay accessible to Bolingbrook customers while shifting closer to growing population and shopping hubs.
   

• Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Lincoln-Way East win flag football regional titles: The Herald-News Wednesday Roundup (shawlocal.com) — Bolingbrook's flag football team just captured its own regional title at home and now hosts Valley View rival Romeoville in a sectional semifinal Saturday morning in Lyons Township. The roundup also highlights other nearby high school results in soccer, volleyball, cross country, and tennis, giving Bolingbrook fans a quick look at how neighboring programs are performing.
