BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Michael's in Bolingbrook is closing, the Village of Bolingbrook confirmed to Patch.
No exact closing date has been given, but reports on social media indicate the store could be closed as early as the end of this week.
The news of the closure of the craft store at 740 E. Boughton comes shortly after the announcement of the Bolingbrook IKEA relocating to Naperville.
Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said the Village is in communication with the Michael's property owners.
The craft store company hasn't announced any major closures. With the Bolingbrook closure, the nearest stores are in Willowbrook, Naperville and Joliet.
