BOLINGBROOK, IL — A special film showing in Bolingbrook will share the stories of World War II combat veterans, held right before Veterans Day.
The showing of "10 Good Men," will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 at the Illinois Aviation Museum, 110 Clow International Parkway.
Tickets can be purchased online. Proceeds of the showing go to support and fund the museum.
Bryan Fusfield, producer of the film, said the small team is looking "to keep the memory of these veterans and many thousands of others like them alive" through the 90-minute film.
In "10 Good Men," 10 of the last remaining veterans of the B-17 flying fortress, which was a heavy bomber aircraft, remember their experiences over Europe during World War II.
Fusfield said the film features arguably the final original interviews with combat veterans of the bomber.
According to the film's website, production ran three years from 2023 to 2026.
Fusfield said the film has screened in about 30 theaters and museums around the country this summer, and is "honored to help bring the history to Bolingbrook as well."
The film is directed by Trent Jones, and narrated by Dan Nachtrab.
