Samir Undevia, MD, a hematologist and medical oncologist, has joined the Edward Cancer Center and is seeing patients for all diagnoses. Dr. Undevia has particular interests in bone and soft tissue sarcomas, benign and malignant hematology, and genitourinary malignancies.
Dr. Undevia is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as his fellowship in hematology/oncology, at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
In addition, Dr. Undevia is Director of the Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Program for the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he remains on faculty.

He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and is fluent in Spanish.
