Bolingbrook 5th Grader Finishes 2nd Racing Season, Looks to 2018
Michael Mucha, a 5th grade student at Wood View Elementary, races a half-scale NASCAR stock car capable of over 100 MPH.

Michael Mucha finished in 5th place overall in the points chase for the 2017 season after 17 races. Michael earned two 2nd place finishes, one 3rd place, and several 4th place finishes. Michael is a 5th grader (and excellent student) at Wood View Elementary School. He serves as a safety monitor for the younger classes and also serves on Student Council. Michael earned Rookie of the Year in 2016, beginning his racing career at the age of 9 and competing against drivers of all ages. Video highlights of all races are posted on YouTube. A few of the many high points in 2017 were helping to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis at Vic's Car Wash, and raising over $4,000 for Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. The team also presented a racing program at Fountaindale Public Library, and were featured at NASCAR Race Fan Rally in Joliet. Michael and his pit crew enjoyed meeting all of the families at the various Kids Workshop events put on by the Woodridge Home Depot, and made many new fans and friends at all of the cruise nights, car shows, fundraisers, presentations, and special events attended.

The team is currently preparing for the 2018 season and recruiting sponsors. Michael Mucha Racing works hard to maintain a strong positive presence in the community, and will promote you just as positively as a marketing partner. The unique cars and personable driver attract attention everywhere they go, thus providing the most exposure possible for your products or services at a very reasonable cost. Michael Mucha Racing will bring you maximum exposure!

In addition to car shows, cruise nights, parades, festivals, charity events, trade shows, fundraisers, and other events, the car and team are available for appearances at your business to drive traffic or entertain your clients.
