Bolingbrook Blues Showcase Planned Sept. 24

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Enjoy a show-off of Blues music at the Bolingbrook Blues Showcase on Sept. 24.

The event will include a Chicago Blues Challenge, which is a timed, judged and scored battled of the bands. The event is sanctioned by the Windy City Blues Society and backed by the Blues Foundation, according to the Village website.

The showcase will also feature drinks and food, and free admission.

Live entertainment for the event held at the Roger C Claar Performing Arts Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road, will feature:

Darren Jay and the Delta Souls, Kevin Purcell and the Nightburners, Lil Harvey and The Chi Town Blues Band, The Sean McKee Band, Win Knoll and The Rockin' Souls, Downtown Charlie Brown and Binford, Tip Jar Stars, Hendickks and Cash, and A Patch of Blues.
