Bolingbrook Board Approves Bid For New Box Aircraft Hangar At Clow Airport

The total cost of the project is $1,736,966, but the bipartisan infrastructure law covers $730,650.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board approved a low bid for the construction of a new box aircraft hangar at Bolingbrook's Clow International Airport.

Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said the new hangar will not increase airport activity, but provides "much-needed" space for planes that are currently being stored outside.

The Village received three bids for the project. One bid was incomplete, and the lowest bid was R. Berti & Son Contractor, Inc., for $1,736,966, Board documents state.
