Bolingbrook Business Founder Dies at 75

Jim Bradley served with the U.S Air Force for four years and founded the Oak Brook Landscape Co. and Bradlink Ventures Industrial Park.

James Bradley, a retired landscape architect and contractor, passed away at the age of 75. He was born Jan. 11, 1940 in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

Bradley served with the U.S. Air Force for four years and was the founder of Oak Brook Landscape Co. and of Bradlink Ventures Industrial Park in Bolingbrook.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie, and sister Joyce Davis. He is survived by sons Dale (Tracy) Bradley and Dan (Christina Seminara) Bradley, brother Larry (Joan) Bradley, sisters Eunice Bradley and Carol (Myron) Shayka.

Jim was a loving husband and father. He brightened the lives of everyone that was in his life, his entire family as well as the many wonderful friends that were a part of his life.

Jim was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed nothing better than visiting Green Bay on game day. Some of his fondest memories were of times spent with family at the various “cabins” in the Wisconsin woods.

Jim was a pioneer in the landscape industry and added beauty and style to all the projects he endeavored. Jim brought happiness and changed the lives of the people in his life with his generosity and kindness.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McQ’s, located at 730 N. Bolingbrook Drive (Rt. 53) in Bolingbrook. Military honors will take place at noon.
