In addition, according to BHS Director of Choirs Lawrence Fisher, the BHS choir members hope to raise additional donations by bringing their beautiful voices to the streets of the Promenade of Bolingbrook in the near future.
Johnson is recovering from a successful bone marrow transplant at the University of Chicago’s Comers Children’s Hospital on April 29 but must spend the next eight weeks in the hospital. His sister, Jada, who will graduate from BHS on June 4 and will pursue a degree in medical research at Benedictine University, served as a bone marrow donor for her brother.
